Applications can only be considered if they are submitted via the formal application form, meet the appropriate deadline and are supported by two references.
The Trustees will consider the course of study and how it will assist the applicant in pursuing his/her career. The application should demonstrate how the study meets the objects of the charity and will only be considered if an acceptance letter is enclosed with the completed form.
The Trustees will take up references for individuals applying and grants will normally be given on a ‘one-off’ basis, but successful applicants may re-apply. Further funding is never guaranteed though, and applicants should ensure that they are financially able to continue with their chosen study without the foundation’s assistance.
The Trustees will look for compatibility with the Christian tradition and some degree of self-help in all applications.
